Action has been a critical part of Bollywood. Earlier action used to be part of a formula that was served along with drama, romance, family values etc. But lately there are movies dedicated to action ala Hollywood. So in the last couple of years, action, from being a sub-plot has moved into being a film genre. But yet, Bollywood Award Functions still treat action as a technical award category and the much required due and attention has not been given.
